The Glovebox Tidy
or GbT as we like to call it

This is how it all started.

It all started a couple of years ago when I received my '02 MINI Cooper S.  With smiles on my face, I was off and motoring.  However, I was severely disappointed in the PEZ dispenser action of the glovebox.  I looked at the current glovebox organizer on the market and was disappointed in its performance and price.  So I made my own with no intention of making more.  I showed the original on www.mini2.com and all of a sudden I had other motorers wanting one.  The original design morphed from a wooden, spray-painted structure to a computer controlled, water-jet cut structure made from black 6mm-thick PVC-based material.  The new material is much stronger and looks better.  Here is the mini2 thread that is the history of our Glovebox Tidy.  Again I have to give great thanks to Paul Mullett at MINI2 for not squashing my little enterprise at the time.

Mini2 GbT history thread

Fitment:  We have a GbT that will fit your MINI.  There are two basic models.  One for the early MINI body style and one for the new 2007-2008 R56 Coupe.  To ease any confusion on this we have broken this down to three categories below.

2002-2006 Coupe GbT

2005-2008 Convertible GbT

2007-2008 R56 Coupe and Clubman

COLORS

20 different colors of felt are available:   black, red, ruby red, yellow, light gray, dark green, light green, denim blue, royal blue, navy blue, neon blue, electric blue, dark brown, tan, charcoal, white, burnt orange, bright orange, purple and pink. More will be added as they become available.

Here is  a pdf file that shows the colors.  I had a very hard time matching exactly the colors on the screen.  These are as close as I can get.  COLORS/COLOURS

We now have a checkered fleece material that looks very nice:

If you do not see a color that you want, please ask.  It might be available.   A customer recently asked for a GbT that matched the Redwood interior.  We found a fleece that was correct and is now ready for orders.

RHD versus LHD

Firstly, what is RHD and LHD?  RHD is Right Hand Drive and LHD is Left Hand Drive.  LHD is what we use in the USA where the steering wheel is on the left hand side of the interior.   Because MINI is made for the global market, they produce both RHD and LHD cars.  The interiors and gloveboxes are mirror images of each other.  Therefore, we produce a RHD and LHD GbTs.

If you order a RHD GbT with a USA address or LHD in the UK, expect a note from to us to double check your order.
