2002-2006 MINI Cooper Coupe LED Interior Light

Here is a low cost way to get a nice white light illuminating your interior.  We developed this design to be very easy to install and provide a nice light coverage.  The intensity from the 12 LEDs is about the same as the current incandescent bulb but is much more white.  The camera shot below does not show how bright this unit really is.  Without the interior lens cover in place, it is almost too bright to look directly at the LEDs.

This unit will only fit the 2002-2006 MINI Cooper Coupe (both MC and MCS).  In the 2007 R56, they changed the interior light to something inexpensive and only has a single downward facing bulb.

Installation is VERY easy.  Remove the lens cover, which is the toughest part, undo two screws, insert unit and put it all back together.
